Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced compliance manager to join our growing organization.  The Compliance Manager will perform a variety of contractual, financial, and general business tasks to assist in the management of all matters relating to government and non-government agreements and overall corporate compliance. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Conduct internal Compliance Audits which follows best practices, regulations, and company's policies and procedures.
  • Review all assigned contracts and prepare written contract compliance summary for stake holders prior to and after execution of agreements.
  • Enter contractual data into database, assign committed tasks, and monitor the compliance of contractual commitments.
  • Assist with the preparation of program-related budgets and proposals to ensure the firm's ability to meet financial and programmatic requirements.
  • Assist with contract monitoring, prepare required schedules or budgets as needed, draft monitoring responses, and follow up on documented action plans for all audit findings.
  • Identifying and ensure inclusion of necessary prime agreement terms.
  • Perform external subcontractor monitoring as required by prime agreements.
  • Develop/Execute a corrective action protocol for non-compliance.
  • Create tracking system for all contractual compliance matters, outcomes and resolutions.
  • Present audits, data, and procedures to other teams; advise on compliance issues across the company
  • Prepare and update compliance policy and procedure manual.
  • Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance with government guidelines and laws.
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
  • Stay abreast of federal, state, and local government legislation and programs and advise management of their impact.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of GAAP and OMB Circular guidelines preferred.
  • Practical knowledge and application of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Five years' experience as a compliance specialist, compliance officer, or compliance manager including experience with contract development, contract compliance or related experience.
  • Experience working with auditors.
